About a week ago I ordered a set of chromatic scale hand pans (Yin and Yang) from Dave's. They were very helpful and got the order out right away. The set came in Thursday, and they sound fantastic! I am just a beginner with the hand pan, but am already experimenting with them and making music. I love the instruments, and I appreciate Dave's very much. Dave's Island Instruments is the ONLY place you need to go for all of your island instrument needs, whether it's ukulele, or steel drum, or hand pans, or shakers, or anything that goes BANG and you won't see played in the symphony, Dave has it! He's also a great teacher and offers lessons, group play alongs, and special guests at the shop. Great prices and EXPERT advice. This guy really knows his stuff and has a passion for music unparalleled in the industry.

This place has the most adorable collection of ukes I've ever seen! They range from traditional to more contemporary looking, everything imaginable. I stopped by here over the weekend for their handpan (hang drums) and Daves Island Instruments does not disappoint! Staff is highly knowledgeable and caters to an active musician community in the area. I'll def always return to this shop again mahalo!
