I drove by Rockley Music today and saw the “STORE CLOSING” sign on the building. I remember going into Rockley music with my parents when I was a kid. My dad still plays guitar and enjoyed going into Spaceman Guitars to see Chris Thomas. When I saw the sign, it concerned me that Spaceman Guitars was closing as well. Thankfully, I found out that they had just moved down the road to their own building located on the north east corner of Colfax and Kipling, right next to Metro PCS. It is sad to see that after almost 70 years Rockley’s is closing their store, but happy to know that Spaceman Guitars is still around for our family, but specifically for my dad because he likes the personal attention he gets from Chris.
Great place to get musical instruments anywhere from pianos to keyboards to violins, and guitars. My brother has a couple guitars from Rockley's which have served him well. My wife just bought a Roland Keyboard from here which was an excellent price for excellent quality!
