If I could give ZERO stars I most definitely would. This place was by far THE worst experience we've ever had. We decided to come here to show support to my sisters friend who was performing last night. First red flag was the price to get in. It was only 10 dollars but besides the point the "hired help" at the door were completely and utmost disgustingly rude! How are you going to turn us away when clearly it was a sausage fest to begin with?! We went to an ATM because card was clearly not accepted to get in at this dive establishment. Still decided to give it a chance. BIG mistake! Second red flag drinks were 9.00 dollars for a cranberry and vodka! Are you kidding me?! If I wanted to pay those prices for a mediocre drink at best, we would've went downtown. This is a Thursday night mind you! I guess this place is going downhill or something to try and use that tactic. Third and final red flag was being frisked by once again, "hired help". An older man patting and rubbing us FEMALES down. Nowhere is that OK anywhere anytime! We decided to leave only to get yelled at by SIMON the manager of this bar. we requested our 10 dollars each Back since we've only been in less than 5minuets! He is drunk and refuses. Follows us outside even! We leave. Come to find out later on that he wants to apologize and offer us free drinks. We didn't want free drinks! As paying customers, we wanted to be treated with respect! I wouldn't go back there ever again after being treated like that! Do NOT come here unless you plan on paying this mans bar rent because clearly.... He cannot afford it.
This place is nice! So much fun! They have different events going on all the time! Must check out an event! Kitchen is under new management! Amazing kitchen staff with good food! Give them a try you wont be disappointed!
The Silver Spur is okay. Wasn't very crowded on a Friday night. The country concert band was okay, but not great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The main area has a nice, medium sized, country western atmosphere. People were having fun there.
The Spur has an extremely versitile team of employees all of which have amazing personalities. It is a highly enjoyable environment where no matter what kind of mood you are in or what kind of day you had, more than likely you will end up leaving in a great mood. The Silver Spur usually doesn't get super crowded, making it much easier to enjoy the conversation of the ones you came in with, the bar tenders, and/or new friends you might make if you came alone. Their food menu items are pretty basic but always very delicious (whether you are sober or have had a few drinks in you already lol). I would definitely recommend it to a handful of people to check out, especially on a weekend. However, even on a weekday it is a decent place to go relax and kick back for a drink or two after a long day at work.
Fast friendly service. I was greated right away, open seating. They have lots of games and pool tables. Dank food the burger that i got was delicious. I'm a fry guy, and i liked there seasoned fries. Would recommend
New items on the Menu! A favorite place for locals since 1981 and very welcoming of New coustomers. Hosting National bands and the best of Metro area play here. Great dance floor and Band Stage with new lighting and improved sound system. Hosting an open stage nights, with many instruments to play on stage yourself. A great place to jam and to connect with new friends!
It is a great space. Not for everyone but it has a personality. The food was good and the bartender was awesome. Live bands and free pool with no cover. Music was at a level where you could still talk. Will be back.
