Good place to get freshly baked local snacks like siew bao and biscuits.

A great variety of traditional Chinese biscuits available. The Heong Piah biscuit is not as tasty as others but acceptable. Buy 3 free 1 is a gimmick that would draw many. The kaya kok is not as fresh but still good. Staff are courteous and allows testing. Parking is a bit of challenge.
Very good place to tambun biscuits and etc.
I had the egg custard tart and another egg tart. The pastry was nice for both but the items are less custardy in flavor and taste more like an egg heavy flan. They are a bit pricey for local standards at almost 5 MYR for 2 small tarts. They are an historic location here and worth a look if you are in the area.
Love the place
Tried their egg tarts but are disappointed as it is below my expextation, too sweet, crust is quite thick. Tried their kaya puff before and it was OK.
I only bought their 炭烧香饼 charcoal heong peng. A packet of 8 individually packed heong peng for RM 8. The crust is very crisp and loose while filling is so gooey and fragrant. Plus it is really fresh. Definitely I would buy a few more to bring home. Fyi, the calorie count for each heong peng is about 222kcal.
Kaya puff not advise to buy . Peanut candy it’s also not as tasty as other shop . But staff friendly and fast .
