Metro City Driving Academy

This is a great place to camp. Weekend or Long Term! Shower houses are always clean and the neighbors are always nice. The camp ground is quiet and people are always willing to work together. Mrs. Rhonda is a sweetheart and takes great care of the office. The staff is amazing. Mr. Charlie and Mr. Ricky are always on night security protecting all the campers. Great prices too.

We rent a space here when we are passing through. It's big open spaces and quiet. There's a clean bath house And it's close to shopping. 30 minutes outside of New Orleans or Baton rouge

Fairground, so the usual -nothing fancy. Close to shopping, restaurants, freeway. Have dogs, so great area to walk around after long day. Stayed in RV park, good for a few day stopover. Showers old, but great water pressure. Had TV and Cell for work, a plus. Full hookups with no cable.

I should have known it was a mistake to stay here after the rude start we got off to. The older lady in the office is absolutely ridiculous. We have worked and stayed all over Texas and Louisiana and we’ve never had an experience with any camp ground quite like this. During our diagnosis with COVID and being quarantined back home we were late on our Feb payment. The paperwork we received says that after 5 days they will tow your RV. They literally towed it on the 5th day. The towing company hasn’t been very easy to work with either. The grounds are crowded and not very nice at all please do not make the same mistake that we made. There are other places to stay in the Baton Rouge area. I’m not sure why they are so hard to work with unless this is how they do business and make additional profit.

Great place to have an event or social gathering. But with the virus many events had to be cancelled. But enjoyment of Lamar Dixon Expo Center is still there. From horseback riding, fishing, soccer for the kids, walking around the back pond and camping. A nice place to getaway for a while. I should know I work there. Come by and check us out.
