Night out despite the restrictions with six. Was nice warm friendly ambiance sitting around the fire enjoying drinks and snacks. The staff were very helpful and the service was great. First time, hopefully not the last.

Great place to catch the sunset on the terrace, panoramic views across the vista. Extensive drinks array and reasonably priced. Didn’t overly rate the food, but it’s well loved locally. Drivers: National speed limit road outside (A508) with blind entrance to this establishment requires particular care.
Fabulous food and menu, great service and excellent covid measures. Simply brilliant.
Just passing on the off chance and pleasantly surprised Friendly staff spotless pub and 5 star food.
I enjoyed a lovely lunch here today. The food was delicious and hot (steak and ale pie with a warm brownie and ice cream for dessert). I felt really safe as I could see the staff and customers taking the COVID measures very seriously. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely meal.
Social distancing measures in place and felt incredibly safe. Electronic registration made it all the bit easier. Delicious food and great customer service. Every time we've visited we've never been disappointed. Will certainly be returning soon!

The staff here were helpful and friendly enough, just a couple of things that would put me off returning though..À la cart portions and quite pricey. I went for the stuffed chicken, it came out with literally a handful of veg, I ordered two more sides to bulk it out a bit (I’m not American either!) and come on, you can’t walk through the restaurant with rubbish bags from the kitchen surely!?
