Food is absolutely horrible, horrible, horrible. I cant emphasize how horrible the food is in this restaurant. I sat in this restaurant pre-covid and was served food that was frozen inside and extremely overpriced at 21 pounds. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone and absolutely would avoid at all costs.

The food is just okay, not that significantly delicious. As much experience in Indian fine dining, I cannot say your food is delicious as the taste is a little bit adopted for westerners' palate not so authentic. And with the same portion of food, comparing to other takeaway-indian restaurants, you gave us less than an aggregated standard of ingredients and spices which sometimes can considered as a good situation. And the way those telephone boys or receptionists talk on phone cannot be viewed as proper, as they shouted at customers (this is too far from a decent level)

Ordered Lamb chops starter, Dhall tarka, King prawn Jalfrezi and Aloo Gobi. Melt in the mouth Lamb chops seasoned perfectly. The Tarka Dhall reminded me of my grandmother's hing Tarka. Absolutely delicious. I seriously recommend Bombay Balti. Thanks Charlie from Liverpool.

Ordered a takeaway via the Lancaster Eats app. We requested a chicken bhuna, and garlic chicken rogan josh. Both curries came and we laughed our heads off, the restaurant had made a curry sauce ( closest I can compare it to is a jalfrezi) and they had simply put normal chicken in for the bhuna and (burnt garlic chicken for my partner). Not sure how they think they can get away with serving people such shi*. Please avoid, I reccomend Masala Spice, Sultans, or Nice & Spicy if your in Lancaster.

Perhaps the worst takeaway experience I’ve ever had. The food took two and a half hours to arrive despite being told it was ‘on its way’ and ‘10 minutes off’ several times. When it finally arrived half our order was missing. I rang up to let them know only to be accused of lying by an EXTREMELY rude manager. The missing food was eventually and reluctantly delivered later. The food was average and definitely NOT worth the 2 hour plus wait and appalling customer service. Would not recommend
