Crook o Lune is a picturesque site running along a disused train track. Options to walk towards Lancaster or caton or, follow the river towards Aughton Wood. Don't go in the water, there are underwater currents and ledges where people have drowned so, be very careful.

An attractive and quirky narrow single lane bridge over the river Lune that can be crossed by both pedestrians and cars. The bridge offers unrestricted views of the wier upstream when looking east, and to the motorway (M6) bridge looking downstream to the west. There is a concrete (public) boat landing by the bridge on the south side with some parking.
