Erm, I was offered a paid trial run for one day in which they would capture my details so if i didn't like the job then i would be paid regardless of the outcome, from 7 in the morning till 4 in the afternoon i was told that someone would come get me and take my details so they could pay me if i only did the one day, a little on that later. I got there at 6:30 was brought in, shown the break room, i asked whether i should leave my phone in my bag to which the production manager replied better keep it with there are agency staff around (not sure what thats says other than the people they employ are treated like and suspected to be thieves), i go into the facility, i'm suited up, wash hands etc. then i'm immediately thrust onto a line, no training or rudimentary safety procedures etc. shown to me. From 7:00 till about 10:30am I labelled cardboard boxes. Lunch was around half twelve/1 O'clock only 20mins maybe less for lunch. 10:30 till i got off at 4:15pm I was taping boxes with a Sellotape roller. I was not asked for my details, i had actually been told trials last for 2/3 days so i excused myself, went to the toilet, proceeded to get locked out of the main facility twice because no one gave me the door code, told the office that i was only doing the one day and giving them my details so they could pay me. I actually considered leaving at Lunch and just walking away but i didn't as i hadn't given my details and wouldn't be paid for it, i was told that someone who was also on a trial had done that the previous day. Being brutally honest no one should have to work at a place like this unless you are desperate and in need of cash, I would rather throw a toaster in the bath with me in it than work for that company again.

this place was shut down several times for breaking the food safety standards and rules - it simply keeps appearing under different names ICP, Packforce etc. At a point in time they used to pack human food during day and pet food in the night in with the same machinery - no wonder customers run away and they will never get BRC Certification
