Beautiful church in a nice town. As a Catholic I always find these places stunning. It was specially interestin that the miracle can be seen both from the side of the altar and from the side of the small chapel directly behind the main altar... Highly recommended to visit. And also find a nice place for an italian breakfast:)

This church is famous for the Eucharistic Miracle that took place in the 700s. This can be witnessed in the monstrance, located behind the high altar, with the flesh set on top and the clots of dried blood contained in a sort of crystal cup at the foot of the monstrance. You could go to the back of the altar (quietly and with reverence) to venerate and spend some time in quiet prayer. Thereafter, it would also be possible to proceed down (via an opening to the right) to look at the former monastery and location where the Miracle took place. Truly a sacred place!
