You'll be surprised on how much this zoo has to offer. It doesn't look big but you can easily spend a whole day in here. Especially since they have a petting zoo with goats and sheep. Super calm animals which will gently let you know that they want scritches. Right now they're only allowing around 10 people at a time in the zoo and you have to desinfect your hands before and after you go but that should be understandable. There's a nice bird house with some african grey parrots, storks and cranes and much more. In my opinion the highlight would be the monkey part of the zoo and the tiger enclosure. The monkey enclosures just look so beautiful and they have lots of space and possibilities to get some peace and quiet for the animals. Must see in my opinion. The tiger enclosure is a bit outside of the rest of the zoo and you'll be able to see the tigers from an elevated position. The two tigers have more than enough space to not annoy each other if they want to. You can get some nice pictures from almost all sides. Very nice and affordable zoo (9 for an adult ticket) and definitely a must go when you're in the area.

Not really worth a visit. Seems birds are the main attraction. Their dromedars, can be seen from the street if you'd like. Children can walk among goats.
for such a small town, it has an amazing zoo. can reach in and pet some of the animals, like the sheep ! we had the honor of accompanying our friend Ronja who works at this zoo, and enjoyed a detailed tour of the whole place.
Large enough to habe silent places to chill, and good for kids too
A cozy little zoo located in Landau. There's a petting zoo for the little ones and for the most part the zoo is wheelchair accessible with at least two wheelchairs available at the entrance. There is also a shop, restaurant and a few other places to grab a bite to eat. This isn't really big enough to take an entire day, but there are plenty of worse (and more expensive) ways to spend a few hours.
