Called in for a quick refreshing cup of tea after a stroll along the scenic river, couldn't resist a portion of chips and a tasty fruit scone, owners were very friendly and accommodating service is quick and with a smile, all though due to Covid menu is limited I know from previous visits that usual menu is basic but more than ample for a cafe and good value.

A very nice tea shop in Langholm (a small town in Scotland). Perfectly placed for starting walks, I have been there twice now and both times I have been on brilliant walks. Especially this time no need to rub your eyes, but it was very hot in Scotland weird I know. The river is the river Esk. The carvings are 1) An Eagle, 2) a fairy and an owl.
