This is basically a fast food joint. So what? The food is good and can be healthier than much of the stuff you can find. I ordered the Javanese chicken soup and chicken satay. 1. Satay was well above average. It wasn't too sweet. I hate is when people in Malaysia add tons of sugar to the meat. I hate it in North America too. But I've noticed some food places do that. The peanut sauce was rich and good and tasted like a human being played a part in it. 2. The Javanese chicken broth was super addictive for some reason. It had shredded chicken, cabbage, noodles and half an egg. I liked it and found it rich and flavorful. 3. The server was trying his very best to be helpful. You don't know how meaningful that is until you've experienced the other kinds of service in Langkawi.
