The Lapidary Museum Maffeiano has a Very interesting collection of Greek, Etruscan, Roman and Paleo-christian funerary stones. It is a great place to contemplate your own mortality. Humans have been dying for thousands of years. What not you? Just be careful. As the Museum demonstrates, Your stones will live much longer than you do.

Just came here for the photo of the building's exterior structure, because by the time we reached there it's already close. However the guard was very nice and allow us to enter just to snap a few photo out of it.

One of the best world collections of Greek and Roman Lapidary. You will walk through 3000 years of history. A beautiful path that needs to be more enhanced as not everyone knows about this place. 4 stars just because there are those horrible modern sculptures that pretend to have something to match with those beautiful stones, full of history and stories to tell. The museum should also try to show the gorgeous collection of thousand of stones that still be stored in the underground for a lack of space and money. an interactive guide would be nice.

As others have said: staff seemed surprised when we arrived & a security guard was falling off his chair asleep. Good if you like tablets and a few statues but not really worth paying for (unless you have the Verona Card or love archaeology). I wouldn't take my kids there!

Bunch of old rocks in a nice building. Wouldn't reccomend unless you have the "Verona Card" which includes entry within the price.

I arrived 45min before the official closing time and they didn't let me in. Lazy and unprofessional staff who should be fired.

Top museum for ancient inscription! It's a pity it's open only in the morning...
