Mr Beirne is great He does very thorough examinations and nothing is too much trouble for him. You arrive for your appointment and are taken at the correct time not left sitting waiting in the waiting room as you are with large multiple organisations. He is very pleasant and is very patient with my children. 5 stars
I had a very good experience when I decided to get new glasses. Stephen Beirne carried our a very detailed examination of my eyes and explained what his findings were. I am very happy to have found an excellent Optometrist and will be using his service again.
I have no hesitation in recommending Stephen. Both my husband and I use his practice and each visit I am always impressed by Stephen's patience and interest in my eyes. Also, after my husband's first visit, Stephen quickly diagnosed him with age related macular degeneration in both eyes - for which he is now seeking hospital treatment. I cannot thank him enough for spotting this so quickly.
Took my 3 year old son to see Stephen for his eye test. Stephen was very patient with my not so patient little boy. We got an appointment very quickly which resulted in my son needing glasses. Glasses arrived very fast and my son now loves wearing his glasses. My son looks forward to visiting for his check ups now.
