Okay for coffee etc. However ordered scrambled egg and toast, when it finally arrived only half of the two slices of toast had scrambled egg on them. Obviously it had been sitting somewhere and only half as warm as it should have been. Really disappointed as been there before.

Friendly staff and right on Sea front. View is unfortunately of the street rather than sea but it's still nice inside. Modern clean inside and food was great. Not overpriced as well.

Didnt feel as safe here as I have elsewhere. Dont think the staff have received proper training. Girl served us water and had her hands around the top of the glass. Waitress and manager both spoke to us with their masks hanging off. Fish and chips served on a cold flat stone plate! They were stone cold in 5 minutes. Must have changed hands, this was always a special cafe. So disappointed.

Won’t be ordering from here again. Ordered ‘hand cooked chips’ 2 portions of macaroni cheese and a tuna & cheese panini. Im my opinion Chips looked like something out of supermarket freezer, thin, soggy and disgusting, Macaroni cheese was tasteless, Panini under toasted and also tasteless. When waiting for my order i had to run to a cash machine to lift cash (as they don’t accept card payments) in the middle of a pandemic! Male staff member very aggressive, could hear him berating another member of staff in the back kitchen for telling him someone was at the door. Not a pleasant experience.

Stumbled on this place, when out looking for food, staff were very friendly and the setting was very smart and cosy. The food was very nice, I had the haddock mornay with creamed cabbage and bacon, which was very rich but beautiful. The wife had the steak which was a little over cook and had too much pepper for my wife, but was still nice. Overall I would definitely recommend eating here If your passing by. Followed by a nice stroll along the promenade.
