Coming back to leave a second negative review. My 10 yr old who chose contacts (as my previous review stated) now needed another 6 month supply so we went in December to order them. Here it is February and we never received a call stating they were in. I went TO the clinic today to inquire and they couldn’t be found. I was told a contacts specialist would call me when they returned. 2 hrs later I called the office to speak with this person and was told that the contacts order was “cancelled or returned or something” and that they’d be reordering them. I will be retrieving these contacts once they FINALLY get here and then we will be finding a new optician. We love Dr Larsen but his staff is incompetent.

Doctor Larson was great himself but the staff was terrible. They over charged my wife 102 and when I called them to go over the receipt and explain how they had over charged I was continually told I was wrong and that the charge was correct. I had to call my insurance and have them call the family Eye care office and explain it to them themselves. Finally they said I would have to drive back in to get reimbursed with my card and didn’t even apologize for the massive over charge. Terrible service!

Absolutely a good place to get you glasses from

Everyone was so nice and helpful. Dr Larsen was so interested in my diabetes and how my eyes were doing well with my low A1C. They were busy but I didn't have to wait too long. They have all the up-to-date equipment needed. I will keep him as my eye doctor as long as I live here in San Angelo.

I love Dr Larsen - and love the way he is with my kids... I’m disappointed with the staff though, and feel like the entire operation needs a little help. My 9 yr old opted for contacts, but a child should be given glasses as well for the times their eyes may be tired of contacts or on the days they need to go without them. This wasn’t suggested or offered. When I did go back to order glasses I was told they’d be ready on Thursday, when I called it seemed like they’d forgotten to order them. They texted me the following Tuesday to let me know glasses were ready. I go to pick them up and they asked for the frames, but I’d left them the frames on the day I went to order. Now the frames cannot be found and they’re short staffed and the guy handling the order won’t be in until tomorrow. I don’t appreciate wasting my time or fuel and certainly don’t like the confusion regarding service that we’re paying for. I’m afraid that if the quality of service continues to decline we will be seeking another optician.
