You don't want to waste time there. Meat is not tender. Veggies are from cans. Even lava cake is not freshly made and not heated up evenly
I used to come here often with my family and it used to be very good. After living abroad for a couple of years I came back craving their Cameron mandarin and it definitely did not taste the same. Fewer shrimps and very dry. I didn’t mind paying a lot more than other Chinese restaurants because I felt the quality was there but not anymore. It was very disappointing. In addition to that, I had asked for take out and they charged me tip! When I asked why they said it was for the kitchen workers.. I couldn’t believe it. NEVER coming back here again.
I've been wanting to visit this mysterious-looking palace for months. Finally did, despite the negative reviews. If you are a curious cat like me, just go for cocktails or appetizers. It's extremely overpriced and the food has too much sugar. Anytime you walk into a restaurant and see six employees just standing around, that's a sign to leave--they're all getting paid thanks to expensive meals but not really working.
As an American tourist, I am used to excellent service. Something I didn’t know, is that here in Chile, waiters don’t work off of tips. I came with my two year old daughter who wanted the orange out of my cocktail. Since I couldn’t give her that with alcohol, I kindly asked the waiter for a couple slices of oranges. Instead of the “of course” I would receive in the states, I got an “ I gotta ask” and he came back with a pittance leaving my daughter wanting more, I would’ve paid for the oranges but it was not an option. From what I hear, it has an excellent reputation, food was alright, nothing amazing especially for the 100 tab, that I waited about 25 minutes for. Wouldn’t recommend. And at the end he still expected a 20% tip
Nice Chinese food (who will guess from the name) restaurant. Has an expansive menu and wine selection. Vegetarians can find two or three plates. I recommend "Union Budista." It not overly expensive, but not cheap either.
Great place to enjoy with friends or coworkers
Good food, avg, not impressive at all. The place is quite fancy and expensive but food is just good
