I love this place. Nice wide open area where you don't have to worry about hitting big rocks or trees. Plenty of space to sled down the slope. Parking is across the street and can fill up quickly. The main rule is to not have your back towards the slopes. Always look up the slope and be aware of incoming sled riders. Most of them don't have any control of their descent. No bathrooms. Snow is hard packed, so it is great for sleds. Again, do not have your back towards the slopes unless you want to end up on a YouTube blooper video. Remember the sunscreen and eye protection. The sun reflects off the white snow making it very bright and easy to sunburn.

We are visiting from Texas looking for some snow while in Las Vegas. We found lots of it here! Parking was full when we arrived at 10am on a Saturday morning. We weren't able to park there. We went back down the mountain and found a pullover spot where we got some great pictures.
Great place to go sledding in the winter or have a picnic in the summer. Parking is limited in the winter so you need to get there early on the weekends or holidays.
Love hanging out at Lee Meadows at all Seasons. ️
Love coming here with my husband and my dog. It's been VERY busy lately, so if you want to go and are willing to make the drive, maybe try for an off day, like a non weekend day in order to find parking and be able to distance yourself from the crowds that form on weekends
Always a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas, especially during the summer and it's crazy heat. You can spend the whole day away up there, relaxing, picnicking, sight seeing, etc. You might even catch a wild horse or two
My family and I go here every time we can for a pic nic and to breath fresh air, yesterday we went to spend a very good time in the snow but any season is wonderful
This place is a nice place to chill. Maybe have a picnic under the trees and watch the wild horses eat grass. The horses are probably used to people, but be careful around them. You have to approach them from the front, not the back. Otherwise they will get startled and react defensively. It's pretty neat seeing them up close and personal.
