I came here on a whim because the Starbucks next door was packed and I was extremely hungry. Probably the best decision ever! I tried their bagel sandwich and it is so delicious! The place reminds me of when I go visit my aunt in NY. Everyone here is so kind and nice, the lady behind the counter said I would be back and she is right. Also, try the Linzer tart, it is the BEST!

Ordered online for a crosstown delivery of the Lox Bagel, and the egg, ham and cheese bagel. Was impressed. Melted cheese was tasty. Quick order. Will order again.

Just came across this place today. For anybody who can appreciate a good bagel and NY bakery, this is the spot! Tried their homemade chicken salad and tuna, and will definitely be back!

Came in at 11:00. The menu was confusing. Everything was unorganized. I told the clerk that this was my first time there and she did not break down the menu. I did not know where to order. The workers were unorganized and they were arguing about things not to be discussed in front of customers. Would not make anymore bagels even though there was 3 hours before closing. Will not come here again Unsatisfied Customer

Approaching their three-year anniversary in the Smith’s plaza at the corner of Rancho and Charleston, a prior Bagel shop taken over by the Montesano’s family and rebranded, it was on Saturday that lunch was ordered from New York Bagel N Bakery for a party of six. Last visited in December 2018, both location and ownership’s thoughtless approach to self-promotion dissuading more frequent support, it was just prior to 11:15am that three bags were found ready from staff donning both gloves and masks. Happy to see both Steve and his sister doing well, a handful of guests eating on-site while additional orders awaited pick-up or delivery via UberEats and GrubHub, it was twenty minutes later that seven Sandwiches were liberated from Sysco Styrofoam, warm Pastrami on Wheat lacking some of the smoke recalled from last time while Corned Beef was herbaceous, lean and moist on Rye. Catering to a variety of tastes, Chicken Salad piled thick on an Egg Bagel performing well thanks to plenty of Salt, Pepper and Celery, fans of Lox should definitely consider Smoked Salmon served beneath Cream Cheese and Capers, though Egg Salad seemed under-seasoned and mostly tasted of Mayonnaise. Next tasting NYBNB’s Cheddar, medium-thick slices on flavorful Roast Beef as well as Bacon and Eggs decent enough, it was actually the melted bits atop a Bagel that proved most noteworthy, though this was probably to be expected since Egg, Sesame and a Bialy also were also enjoyable thanks to a good skin and plenty of chew. Saving the sweet stuff, Italian Cookies sold by the pound always available but lacking Tricolor or ‘Rainbow’ on this day, lunch finished with Cinnamon-Sugar shellacked rings spread with Cream Cheese followed by a truly world-class Black & White Cookie featuring a Cake base and tangy Vanilla versus Cocoa-rich Frosting.

I'm a regular customer the last several years, luv their food and always get the Tuna melt sandwich. However today I went in and was not treated courteously or respectful by a lady behind the counter while simply trying to place my order. It was head scratching why she addressed me the way she did. I promptly said never mind and walked out. You lost a customer today.

Best black and white cookies this side of Heaven! Steve made special cupcakes for my birthday which were so much like Dugans from N.Y. OMG! Did I forget the rainbow cookies..with raspberry jam between the layers. My parents would be proud..yes..I am from Long Island!

I’ve come here a few times and really like it! I’ve never had a problem but today I called in an order and she said okay give me 5 min I gave her 10. I went inside and waited 20 min!! I was mad but I understood but I was really disappointed when the food was just not as it usually is the egg was chewy & spongy...
