My friend was there until today when he was transferred to ER with breathing problems. They found a giant sore on his butt from not being moved, and his complaint to me when I saw him yesterday was he could not breathe and none of these people seemed concerned - they just relied on a machine to tell them what was going on and said, and I quote \he is probably ok\. At least now he is in good hands, I will object to him going back there unless something is done about the substandard level of care I witnessed firsthand.

This place is good if you are an elderly person either waiting for hospice or recovering from an injury. Small rooms, staff comes like 1x every 2 or 3 hours. The button you press to get attention only gets responded to about every 4 hours. Very unattentive staff. The food servings are tiny, enough for an elderly person but not for anyone between the ages of 19-55, they also will not get you more food if requested. The therapy staff is amazing, but they are subcontacted anyway. The employees are complacent and do not seem to care if you improve or decline. The older lady that distributes the medicine is amazing and very friendly. Everything else here is just okay. Not 5 stars for sure.

I am a CNA working at this facility going on four years now and I want the new hired CNA's to be very careful getting the benefits from this facility. I have no benefits from October of last year because they terminated my benefits for one missed payment but kept charging me twice a month for benefits that I did not have for three months and now am still without benefits or being reimbursed my money. The corporate department sucks and health advocate can't help you with anything all they do is referred you to another department , this has been going on for seven months now and I still can't get an answer of when they're going to renburst me my money. My pay went down because of this issue along with my benefits , this is going on seven months now and I have other co-workers who have benefits issue as well. The management team really don't care about their staff yet there a regular management meeting every morning that don't seems to meet the needs of the CNA's. Just my review on this issue am having.

I just brought my husband home today less than a week after he went in with kidney failure. I worked in nursing for over 20 years and I have never seen a level of care that exceeds what St Joseph’s provides. The RNs are plentiful in every section. They are extremely knowledgable and competent. The kitchen staff provides a quality of food that exceeds half the restaurants in Vegas. The PT staff is excellent as well. This is the place to go if you want to get well and go home. The building is old and the rooms are small but that’s of little consequence in light of all the other pluses.
