Imposter church- does not follow Orthodox calendar. They follow the Catholic calendar. Service is in English. Priest unfriendly and demanding money from church members during the service. Very unwelcoming people who keep to themselves and segregate. There is no unity in this church. No greeting, no one approached me or was friendly. I ended up waving someone down to say hello and they told me it was 2 years before anyone at the church became friendly towards them. Bookstore overpriced. Some people dressed very immodestly for an Orthodox Church. Much better churches in Las Vegas, the Russian Orthodox Church in NW Las Vegas is the best by far, and most traditional, authentic. The Greek Orthodox Church is great too. They immediately make you feel like a part of the community and a member of the family, and celebrate the Orthodox calendar.

This is an Orthodox Christian Church. The parish is a diverse community and welcomes visitors. While English is the primary language of the services, other languages are used as the need arises. This parish maintains a very active schedule of services and events throughout the year. Sunday services start at 9:00 a.m.

I live behind this church and there is a natural spring on the church's property that floods the backyards and streets of the neighbors below. After many attempts in good faith, 7000 in legal fees, professional inspections and reports, Father John and the parishioners have been uncooperative, indifferent, beligerant, and non-compliant in maintaining the proper drainage of this feature of their property. They are terrible neighbors and behave in a highly uncharitable and anti-Christian like manner. I hope you don't find yourself complicit in their wrong doings.

this is largely in reply to Super Girl's review. She is obviously an Old Calendar troll for the Russian church. St Paul follows the Revised Julian calendar, which is most definitely Orthodox, as does the Greek church. Moreover, my wife has visited the church and reports that the parish was welcoming, and the priest friendly.
