I love practically everything on the Suzuya menu, from their desserts to the breakfast/brunch items. The cafe itself is a modern and cute place to meet up with friends. Their online system for ordering is especially helpful and efficient during these times. They have a nice outdoor patio area & are dog friendly. There’s even a pup menu with some yummy treats.. that’s always a plus in my book! I like the: cream puffs, mille crepe cake, strawberries & cream cake, chocolate cake, croque madam toast, strawberries & cream crepe, & BLT crepe

Love the customer service they give you. Girls took the time to explain the different crepes. Brought my 90 year old mother and she loved the not so sweet chocolate crepe. Pourover coffee was delicious! This is how you do it Japanese style !

Stopped by on a Sunday. Was expecting to see pastries in the case, but the case was empty. The menu was basically crepes, toasts, and coffees. Asked if the had any Shiro-pan (Japanese style white bread), but they said you have to call in your order ahead of time. So I tried the Ichigo (strawberry) crepe with a latte. It was ok. The place is clean bright and airy. There is also outdoor dining tables that they share with the restaurant next door.

こんなメッセージプレートを自分の誕生日ケーキと一緒にもらったらどんな思いしますか?誤字、信じられません...日本人経営のお店だと私は信じてますが、大事な基本的なメッセージも日本語で書けないのはどうなんでしょうか... I believe this store is owned by JAPANESE. We used to love this store and purchase sometimes for special occasions. Their cakes WERE very beautiful looking and the tastes WERE as good as authentic ones. HOWEVER, the other day, we ordered birthday cake with message plate. Then I went to pick it up and took a look at my cake, there were mistakes on the message plate on the cake, so I asked to fix it. A few minutes later, a staff came back with new plate... I gave up on it. No way to get better one. It was terrible and Japanese writing, none sense of humor and MISTAKES which is even though words of HAPPY BIRTHDAY in JAPANESE. And again, I believe they are JAPANESE pastries. (But they accept any languages for the plate. ) I couldn't believe they couldn't write those letters correctly, which is very important and very basic words. The cake was for my husband birthday... I should have ordered at this store. Bad memory forever!!! I messaged the owner and told everything, they answered that "our chefs are not all Japanese, but we tried our best to write any messages on message plate in any languages. " But wait, again, I believe they are JAPANESE pastries. They can't make even JAPANESE message plate??? I believe most Japanese customers expect what I have expected. Am I wrong? If you got this message plate on your birthday, how would you feel?

I love Suzuya for its yummy well balanced not so sweet creations -and I get all of our special occasion cakes here. However, I super duper dislike suzuya for its inflexible rules when ordering a same day cake. I was on hold forever trying to talk to a live person. When I finally got my call answered, the lady said she can not hold the last full sized cake for me despite me offering to prepay for it and telling her I'm seriously in the car driving to the store as we speak. I found this tremendously unreasonable as it creates unwarranted stress on the customer and they would for sure get their money as I am prepaying. Also I find the 4 customization fee ridiculous when buying a cake from the display case when it is free for preordered cake. (Less than 5 minutes to write dedication on a small cookie) Although they are the closest thing to a traditional Japanese bake shop here in Vegas, I think their lack of individualized service, acknowledgment of loyalty and neighborly attitude is far from traditional Japanese culture. Relationships don't matter here ... it's ran like a corporation. On a side note, when we arrived at suzuya 15 minutes after the sterilized phone call... the person in front of us bought the last full size cake. It's too bad our 85year old auntie ... her birthday cake surprise is no longer viable.

Good coffee but not much selection for deserts like they used to have at their former location
