Al's was recommended to us by several customers that had acquired his services. They removed two very large trees, trimmed and shaped a very large hemlock, trimmed and shaped Nellie Stevens holly trees next to the house without disturbing shrubs and flowers below, cut huge limbs reaching over our home, cut dead limbs from several trees, cut some dead ground brush and cleaned everything up. Everyone was polite and respectful and worked very hard the whole time. Al is very professional and very good at what he does. The cost of all of this work was extremely reasonable. As you see I would have him return when I need him again and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for these types of services. Don't miss out. Give Al a call. I almost forgot..he also ground out the stumps to the tress he took down.

No one likes having a dead or dying tree. Especially if it's right outside your master bedroom. Mom had a bad feeling about a really super tall tree in my backyard that had an unsighly bald spot on the bark, like it was hit by lightning. Always listen to your Mom! Dad saw Al working in a neighbor's yard & got his card. I called and made an appointment for a consult. He walked the property with me and pointed out branches that were reaching over the house & garage. He came to my troubled tree and discovered there was a big hole at the bottom, put a stick in it, and we found out it was hollow. NOT GOOD. Eep! Dangerous. He gave a fair estimate, his lovely wife Shannon emailed me the estimate, and his large team, with Al, came within 2 weeks. They cut the big tree down, and another one growing too close to my house, removed the heavy logs and he ground out the stumps with the coolest piece of machinery I've ever seen. A pink remote control stump chomper. I wish I could load the video I took of that thing going! It was so cool. I had to hold myself back from asking to give it a try - the geek in me was mesmerized! I bet if my Dad was there he'd somehow try to convince my Mom to let him get one, it was that cool! He expertly cleaned up and shaped up my Crepe Myrtle - see the pictures. I'm hoping I'll get more flowers this year - last year it was kind of a dud. TL:DR: Fair price, quick turn around, great communication, did the job expertly and even cleaned up with a leaf blower. I was very impressed with both the service and the professionalism. Would recommend this company very highly!

We had several trees removed so that we could install a swimming pool. After getting several estimates from local tree removal companies, a co work suggested that we contact Al's. He was much more reasonably price then everyone else. Came quickly for the tree removal. His crew was fast working and cleaned everything up very well. Will definitely use this company again. Fast, affordable, and very professional.
They were absolutely excellent in accommodating us. The staff is very friendly. They same day delivered a cord of wood to our house on a saturday!! Only 180. I would highly recommend them for anyone in the delmarva area.
