We had a graveside service. Unfortunately the live stream failed after 14 minutes so the distant family missed the most important part of the service, we had trains passing and strong winds making it difficult to hear the pastor. Possibly service location should have been somewhere else.. The staff was great to work with and very kind and compassionate.

Horrible experience!! They might of been good before Covid-19 but they are definitely unprofessional and unprepared now! Do not pay for their services it’s not worth it. My whole family was told to be on zoom for the burial and service and they had the whole service without making sure they were actually on zoom with us! We got to see nothing but a recording of it hours later! Only some family members were present and tried to face time who they could. This was completely unacceptable as we will never get this moment back to say our goodbyes. My mother did not get to say goodbye or speak at her mothers funeral! People in charge need to take responsibility for this! Why would they tell us to get on zoom, provided us a link and not even bother to actually set it up! Then we call them and we were left with no answers so we had to sit the whole funeral out! I hope that this does not happen again to any other family!

A memory that will never me mended On Friday we buried my 98 yr old grandmother. Unfortunately because of Covid most of the family was unable to attend. We were told not to worry as the funeral would be facilitated via zoom and Facebook live.. we were all prepared to see our grandmother leave, and share this time with her.. the experience was horrific. Not only did the funeral home provide us the link of the WRONG funeral but once a new link was submitted it was too late. Our grandmother was already buried. The zoom video that was submitted after was from afar and one could not hear anything except wind and blurred voices. Video Quality was horrible. During the hour long funeral various family members attempted to contact Laurel Land with no answer. They never made sure that the video or audio was connected We missed the opportunity to say goodbye to our 98 year old grandmother. Something that we will never ever get back. Laurel land was not responsive in this time. Our hearts are broken. What a way to see Her go.. Alone. I hope nobody ever has to experience this horror in a time like this. Laurel homes was the biggest disappointment. We thought they couldn’t top off the error of placing the wrong tombstone on my grandfathers grave which they kept on for over a year but they sure proved us wrong. Please save yourself heartache and avoid Laurel Land Memorial. I wish I could give them ZERO stars

Great service to our family during a sad time. Funeral Director Jamye Bowers took great care of us. I felt like she was my buddy by the end of things. Very personable and accommodating. They bent over backwards to squeeze us into a day that was already overbooked. And didn’t make me feel guilty when I asked for a small change late in the game.
