I have traveled many states and I have some things to say. This is by far my most favorite place to eat of all the places in the states I have traveled. It is very comforting, unique and has amazing cooking.. Tonya the owner/ waitress is a person who loves to joke around and makes you feel like you belong. The service is great like no other, it is a well cleaned up place for all you who think it isn't. I suggest for everyone to try this place out because it is a remarkable experience in Nebraska.

I recently visited Saloon Too for the first time on a trip to northeast Nebraska and I am happy to say that it will also be my last.... I was not greeted in a professional manner by the lady who was the owner of the bar. She seemed very cold, unwilling to properly interact with our table and gave off the impression that we were wasting her time by being in there. When I asked a question concerning a side dish with my order she spoke to me in a very unappreciated condescending tone.I felt bad for the other server who was in the bar that night as she was being spoken to in a degrading way in front of customers. To make matters more disgusting I noticed how close the men's restroom was to the kitchen...where the food was being prepared...has the health inspector not noticed this? Also, I could not help but notice how cottage cheese was left out behind the bar the entire hour and a half my party was there...it is common knowledge that dairy products spoil if left out of the refrigerator for extended amounts of time..basically, customers were served an unsanitary dairy product all night which is a high public health concern..and lastly I do not think salads were prepared or served let alone kept in a safe manner. when someone orders a "salad" at this place what they are getting is warm, brown lettuce grabbed bare handed from a large wooden salad bowl left out for up up to 2 hours then smothered in salad dressing that is kept out uncovered on a tiny table behind the bar. I did not notice a place behind the bar for employees to wash their hands and I never once saw either the owner or her employee leave to the ladies room to potentially wash their hands before handling food. Due to the complete lack of professionalism, customer service and unsanitary conditions of the Saloon Too, I will never step foot in there again.
