Autostrada del Mediterraneo

Avoid! This is a ghost rest stop, 2 or 3 kilometers away from a highway. In addition, when you take the exit, you can't turn around to go back. We were the only car at the rest stop. Do not go!

Ripped off! This was our first stop for gas during a trip to Italy. The station was quite a distance from the autoroute, compared to most service centres, but as a former Esso employee I've always gone out of my way to support the brand. There was no credit card pay at the pumps and the payment centre was in a separate room, not in the main store as you would find in North America. The person processing the credit cards was very well dressed for a service station attendant and very chatty, asking us about retirement age in our country and other matters that distracted our attention from the transaction at hand. It was only later, when I looked at my credit card receipt, that I understood why he was distracting us. The amount of gasoline pumped was 52 Euros. He had charged us 61 Euros. I am virtually certain that this was not a random error, but part of a systematic attempt to defraud customers and pocket the difference. Count your change and carefully examine your credit card receipt if you purchase fuel at this station. Or, better still, since it's filthy and much further off the highway than most service centres, avoid it entirely. There's a reason why this guy is so well dressed.
Lot of cars. Good service
Worst experience ever in Italy - beware of this station! Far away from the highway, did not accept fuel card, fuel assistant said \cash only\ I suspect the exceptional high price was a fraud, my wife reported the shop was not clean, empty and almost no choices of refreshments or snacks
I got overcharged, no DKV and a long way from the highway
Expensive
