2 main themes in the museum- the Rhone River and the 5 continents. Very detailed and also unique and interactive. Walk u through the developing of the Rhone River and after the sea life's of the 5 continent with a grand finale of a rain forest. Plenty of parking in place. Also restaurant and not so expensive gift shop.

Lovely place top learn about water animals. The place showcases animals from across the world. There are explanations and videos. They even have an app that you can instantly download to read about the animals you see. There is a restaurant that serves hot and cold food. There is ample parking too.

I came with my family to aquatis, the place itself is beautiful, clean, the aquariums are great etc etc. the reason for my poor review is that, we are in the middle of a pandemic and a big reason we chose to visit was that masks are mandatory, however we did see a couple not wearing it while entering (in employees plain sight) I think staff should be enforcing the rules established so all guests are and feel safe. The other reason was, at the exit, after purchasing souvenirs I asked for a map, I don’t speak French but I speak other 4 languages including German, the lady was quite rude not even trying to understand me and I think if you have people at a counter dealing with customers, they should at least try, at the end she just say no. Quite disappointing as we keep maps of all aquariums and museums we visit as a family.

Really good experience, with a lot of different species from all over the world! There are both land and sea animals, with beautiful setups that are really immersive. We particularity enjoyed the way they use mirrors on the floor to reflect models attached to the ceiling: it makes you feel like you're flying over the scenery. It is really easy to get to using the m2 subway, and reasonably priced.

Nice aquarium/vivarium with modern scenography. Several larger aquarium following the Rhone river from the glacier to the sea, a tropical area. A bit pricey.

Aquatis is definitely a good day trip. It is largest freshwater aquarium. Hotel rooms are is also available for day use. There is happy hour from 5 p.m but the place closes at 6 p.m. One hour is usually not enough to enjoy this place. There is a bright and modern resturant with mostly kids friendly simple food.
