The place is an old authentic swiss cuisine restaurant... the food is excellent, moreover the staff is really friendly. We were with our toddler and the staff made sure that they accommodated our needs. A big shout to Carlos (who can make crazy duck noises) and Christianne, who were very sweet and courteous.

Food showed up fast, was very hot and totally yummy. The server who also served us was friendly and had a wonderful smile. The food was really excellent, couldn't believe how astounding the costs were!. Wide selection of drink and food, definitely some thing for everyone. Wonderful service and atmosphere, would recommend the food and good for kids also.

The fondue is such a traditional. Fondue should be ordered one and a half at least. The service was good and the waiter was so kind. Price is also reasonable comparing to the price in Lausanne.

Great location. Steps from the Cathedral and main square. This is the view from the restaurant.

The roastbeef was very not tender at all, and not enough tartare sauce was served with it. One bread slice was from old bread.

Great setting on a major Lausanne Place for people-watching. Atmosphere is relaxed and protected sidewalk seating puts you next to the Place action. Menu is in brasserie style - food execution ok for price. If American & ask for meat med-rare you'll get rare - not uncommon. Brusque service was a bit of a cliche in a Swiss French-speaking city, probably exaggerated by us being walk-ins (lost a star for that). They serve horse!

Fast and friendly service. One of the few places in the area open for lunch on a Sunday. Very limited vegetarian options (cheese fondue and two kinds of pizza) but the pizza was very nice at least.
