We had a family lunch last Saturday, the service was nice, the food was good. The view along the way on the boat was beautiful. I love it

Great boat.and was a nice to and fro trip to Evion on a rainy day. Only difficulty that I faced is little with language as I don't knew French and they don't have sign boards in English
The organization is good. Many people, but due to various routes each boat is moderately loaded. You can use your time to catch a later boat back. The cashier tells you the latest departure. Like it.
Opted for the Captain's Table and the food did not disappoint. The leisurely tour around the lake had picturesque views that made the meal that much better.
We arrived in Montreux for the luncheon cruise aboard the motor paddle wheel vessel the ‘Vevey’ for our excursion cruise on Lake Geneva. The Vevey is a 216-foot electric motor-powered paddle wheel vessel. (Two 230-kW engines). She was built in 1907 and has a capacity of 560 persons. She is part of the fleet of the CGN Lake Cruise Company and these vessels have been classified as Historical Monuments of National Importance since 2011. While we ate lunch in the upper deck windowed dining Room (Polenta Wedges, Grilled Chicken Breast, roasted Cherry Tomatoes, and Chocolate Mousse with white wine) we sailed from Montreux, past the Chillon Castle, around the northern end of the lake to the French waters. We did not dock to pick up or discharge passengers, although these ships do serve that purpose. The ship’s flag was changed while we were in French waters. The food was good, but the best part was just seeing the shoreline from the water. I am not sure that this would great for small energetic children, but I do recommend it for adults. With proper advance notice wheelchair travelers can participate in this activity also.
I made a great tour from Lausanne to Montreux with a fantastic view on the wine terrasses of Lavaux. Scenarios that inspired many famous painters like Hodler or Kokoschka. Château Chillon was impressive seen close up from the lake. Here Lord Bryon set the scene for his book 'Prisoner of Chillon'.
Nice view and free atmosphere.
Amazing trip if it's a sunny day.
