As an old-fashion person I could not stay away from this restaurant - dark wood, amber light and delightfully retro atmosphere plus a traditional Valaisian cousine. What do we need more? Ah - good wines and a coffee . Here you go!

Place with history and authentic style with a fresh touch of a talented team of chefs and servers. The menu is brilliant and all my carnivore friends adored everything they tried. The choice of finely selected wines and beers is impressive! They also thought about those who don't eat meat but still want to accompany the lovers of traditional kitchen (like me) by putting creative and fulfilling plates for vegetarians and vegans on the menu. P.s.- Apparently this place is there since 1902!

Le Cygne is back! A new owner has revived what once was! The place has been cleaned from top to bottom and lovingly restored with original colours, upholstery, everything. The food and service too have been revived, and while there are a couple of small modernisations in the menu, mostly you'll only notice a new commitment to the quality that made this place an institution.

\u003e Restaurant, brasserie avec plusieurs mets traditionnels de la région. Je n'ai jamais été déçu et je recommande cette adresse. \u003e Depuis le changement de propriétaire, en 2016, l'équipe a rajeunis et la carte est plus petite, mais la qualité est toujours au rendez-vous et le personnel agréable. (CHF 4.- les 2dl de coca c'est par contre trop cher, cela fait 6.- les 3dl qui sont généralement à 4.50 ailleurs)

Brasserie à l'ancienne avec ce charme si particulier du style du début du 20e siècle.. Des plats excellents et un service chaleureux ont font un endroit incontournable de Lausanne..
