The company had to install beautifully engineered 6 inch wood slabs on about 1500 square feet of living space. There were several gaps in between some of the slabs that were apparent immediately. You could see the light colored planks underneath. The blame was put on the humidity level which was not really an issue as humidity was at 40-45%. There was also a couple of planks that lifted and seemed to have come unglued. I called numerous times without getting a response and when I finally did, it took two months to come and “fix” it. The guy that came twice, came late and ill-equipped to colour in the gaps and fix a little damage to the floor despite knowing why he was there. The unglued planks are better but still loose. The after service is lousy and I feel bad because it cost me over 12k for this job and when you factor in the wooden planks, it was a very expensive job with poor work and even poorer service post installation.
