Called for a consult back in November of 2018, all went well. Gave him my retainer for my divorce case. He filed the divorce paperwork and showed up at domestic relations hearing, that is where his help stopped. He never showed up for my custody conciliation which was rescheduled, then never informed me of the new date. I contacted him this past June because the ex and I came to an agreement on the divorce, he said he would draw up the new paperwork and it would all be done by the following Monday. I never heard from him again, and he does not return calls, as far as I am concerned, he stole my retainer. This man is a joke to the legal system and to his clients. Update 7/31/19 After writing this review, I received an email from Sean with an apology and assured me my settlement agreement would be done by today 7/31/19, in his email he also stated he would phone me yesterday 7/30/19 to update the status. SURPRISE!!! no phone call!! Just more of the same in avoiding a paying client. I believe this is theft of services.

Absolutely terrible. There is no 0 star or he would have that. I wouldn’t trust him with my dogs final will(if he had one). This “attorney” will take your monies and you’ll never hear from him again. He’ll screen his calls and not answer. This guys should have his license pulled by the bar association. Wish there was something that could be done.

I paid him half the money for a case I needed him to work on and he never got back to me. I got a new lawyer and now Sean Potter is ignoring my calls and emails to get my money back. Please do not waste your time with this man. He will take money and never return it. I gave him a one star only because there isnt an option for a 0 star rating.

I was able to get in contact with him and talk with him before I was a client but once he got my money and I was a client of his he never updated me on my case and didn't ever contact me back. complete rip-off will continue to try and get in contact and will update this review if he ever gets in contact with me. He is an amazing man of god he is truly out to help ppl and not just make money if you are looking for someone that will go to bat for you and be in your corner sean potter is the man! It was truly a blessing to have met him and had him help us ! I thank god for sean he is an amazing fearless lawyer such a blessing ! God bless you

I wish I could give him 0 stars. He stole my retainer and did NOTHING with it on a sensitive manner. Have attempted to contact him MANY times and he refusing to respond to any inquiries. This is THEFT from an attorney of law. DO NOT HIRE HIM.

I had three different times that got cancelled for many of "reasons" after I already had someone that I had to pay to watch my kids. I was told a few times he was going to call with a new appointment and he did. All went well.
