I took my 80 year old parents to him to review mine and my parents Land Trust and I was under the impression his fees were 150.00 per hour. His response to the initial review of the Trust was all missed up and he could correct it. After I returned for the final corrected Trust, he charged us 11,000.00. I questioned him about the fees and I calculated 150.00 per hour, he would have to have worked over 100 hours. He stated he set up 8 trust and power-of attorney, after calling the title company the Trust that he claimed he set up were the original ones created between 2012 to 2018. He did set up three new Trust that are empty. His billing practices are unethical and outrageously excessive. I am willing to pay him but will let the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations and ARDC determine the usual and customary fees. If he states this claim is not correct I can post all the information on this review.
