Doug is the epitome of an empathetic, reasonable, and strategic attorney. Litigation and involving attorneys is not a fun feeling and can induce stress and many negative emotions, as it did with us. Initially, we hired another attorney for a commercial lease dispute we were dealing with. The first attorney was ineffective and we were paying him an unreasonable amount of money for him to elongate a situation we wanted rectified. We then reached out to Doug over the phone for a free consultation. I knew immediately from our first phone call, he was the attorney for this case. He was understanding and proactively listening to our situation/details. He wanted to genuinely help us with our situation, which is unique about him. Nowadays, it seems that many attorneys tend to run like businesses, where they want you to retain them, file suit, and change exorbitant fees - not Doug. When we retained him for this dispute, he was extremely communicative and provided strategies, that our first attorney failed to advise us on. Those same strategies proved to be effective, as we were able to handle this situation in a relatively quickly manner without a lawsuit being filed. Additionally, his rate was beyond extremely reasonable. We will undoubtedly seek his counsel if we ever have any issues in the future. If we could give him 10 stars out of 5, we would - he is a godsend and a wonderful person who cares about his clients. Thank you Doug - you are amazing!

I called Doug just finding out we had a lien. My husband and I were closing on our house, this was the only thing that was a issue it was a big issue! He was reassuring and explained everything to us how we would go about fixing it so we can still close on our house. In a matter of one week he was able to get it vacated now we now can move into our new house! Amazing!! This was the most difficult intensive moment of our lives because we’re going to loose this home and we’re we’re already packed and ready to go. I cannot believe this went our way! He is amazing also the help of his team. Thank you so so much Doug for all you help! You changed our lives!
