Lawrence Genesis, Clinton Parkway is the best gym, so accommodating to your life style, to your needs. Their staff, specially Tanner is wonderful; helpful, friendly, flexible and everything that you would expect in a gym staff. We are very happy with Lawrence Genesis (Clinton Parkway). Manhattan KS Genesis, need more customer service training, looks like they are doing you a favor instead of treating you like a client, very very disappointed, in there manureisms and behavior, they have their favorite clients. I am really upset with Genesis Manhattan KS. I have compared both gyms since my job takes me to Manhattan KS and they are nothing alike! Congrats Lawrence Genesis - Clinton Parkway. Thank you Tanner!

This location is the cleanest and most well kept location in Lawrence. The space is very open, inviting and the equipment is well maintained. Tanner, the club manager, is very easy going and very professional. You can tell that he cares about the club and the members that visit there. I highly recommend this location!

My favorite gym to work out in! Friendly staff, super clean, friendly and helpful personal trainers, excellent group classes. Best kids club EVER! One of a kind family atmosphere. If you are looking for a gym definitely check out Genesis South!!

Thomas and Tanner have really turned this club around. Really positive vibes, great atmosphere, it’s so nice to see members coming back and feeling safe in the atmosphere they’ve provided. So glad to see this facility thriving again.

Not sure how they treat members, but me as a non-member trying to get my tennis racquet restrung, not so good. 4 days after I dropped it off, I picked it up without anybody even looking at it. Not going back even if I have to take 2 trips to KC to get it done. UPDATE: I just received a call from a trainer, apparent callback from me requesting tennis lessons. How we got from getting my racquet restrung (which didn't get done), to me taking lessons is beyond my understanding. LAST UPDATE: Publicly expressing concern (Response from owner), but privately no response to my email. Seems in-line with other negative reviews.

McPherson site has friendly, helpful staff. However the central business office does not keep up well with accurate contract amounts and billing periods.
