I never get through when I call. I leave a message and no one ever returns my calls. It's very hard to even get seen now. I use to love it there, but I'm really beginning to strongly dislike how everything is now. Positive: when I do go there for an appointment the staff is awesome.

I'd like to thank dr. AJ Strickland and his team, Courtney r.n. and Vera m.a. for their excellent care and compassion for the three and a half years I lived in Lawrence. Not having insurance at the time, Heartland worked with my limited income resource without breaking my wallet. I honestly can't rave enough! Good lookin out out, guys!

Over the years I have received much encouragment from this facility. They have helped me with my medications my health whether that be mental or physical. If you have a need and are unable to pursue because of a lack of finances this is the place to seek help.

Not everyone who reports severe pain is seeking narcotics. My husband visited this clinic almost a year ago (I wasn't comfortable writing a review until we had left the community) and he was treated as a drug seeker. He had severe back pain due to a legitimate medical condition that had been as yet undiagnosed and was treated as drug seeker by the staff. It was very disheartening. The staff made opinions regarding my husband before their clinical assessment, which lead to prejudice on their part. My husband left this clinic without any type of diagnosis. A total waste of time, and demeaning in the process. Medical professionals should have more of an open mind.
