This was honestly the best dental experience I've ever had. Every staff member - receptionist, hygienist and dentist - was professional and courteous. The hygienist took extra time with the cleaning in order to accommodate my sensitive teeth, and gave me a great deal of useful advice on flossing techniques and cleaning around a permanent retainer. I was also given samples of oral care products tailored specifically to my dental needs, which I very much appreciated. I don't have dental insurance, but I can sincerely say that the care I received was worth every penny. The quotes given over the phone were accurate - no unpleasant surprises. I left the office feeling confident that all my dental needs were met. Little extras that really made a difference: TV screens mounted on the wall to keep your mind off the procedures, Keurig machine and bottled water in the lobby, and staff offers you a pair of sunglasses when you're in the exam room so you won't have to squint into the overhead light or get bits of unwanted material in your eye.

Have been visiting Jayhawk Dental for years now and thoroughly enjoy their staff from the front desk workers to the dental assistants to Dr. J! Will be sad to leave Lawrence at some point as I'll have to say goodbye to these people I trust and enjoy so much.

I've been going to Dr. J for years and can't say enough good things about the staff here. They always make me feel welcome and comfortable and confident. I don't take the best care of my teeth between visits but they don't ever make me feel bad and they get me back on track. I highly recommend them for their compassion, their professionalism, and their dedication to their customers.
