I've been involved with Lawrence Creates maker space for a few years in the background and for a few months as a full member with rented office space. The experience has been great so far. My family and I have managed to have a lot of fun as members and now we have our own secure area in the building, it's that much better. I've been able to teach class on 3d printing, practice on my unicycle, hold meetings with new clients, show and sell my art work, and make a lot of new friend's. My wife is working on setting up badge workshops so girl scout troops can come out to earn badges and create art with ease. Really it's just kind of awesome having a place you can show up at 2 am and use the table saw without bothering anyone. Great place, useful tools, and awesome people. 5 stars

Makersplace is a wonderful Non-profit organization and idea! It's so convenient that it's 24hr and I'm able to come in when I'm free. Eric the owner is great and so helpful! I'd highly recommend!

This is a great place to be a maker. Lawrence is a great town and now we have a spectacular space to develop a community and innovate in art and technoology.

This is a clubhouse for people who make stuff; art, gadgets, furniture, electronics, anything! Members share a wide variety of tools and space to build in. Public meetings on first Tuesdays. Gallery shows on Final Fridays.
