Outstanding store, the owner took my call when he was busy with customers and still took the time to answer my questions. We went in the very next day and he showed us where the feed was made, how it was processed and packaged, and helped us learn about other feed he had available for our ever-expanding animal herd. We brought the layer feed back to our girls and they went nuts for it, I’m so happy. So thankful to have found this store!! Will definitely be coming back for all our animal feed needs!!

Excellent feed store. They mill their own feed several times a week. You can't find feed any fresher than that! We run a local chicken farm and our chickens love this feed more than any other. We switched from getting pellets at the big chain stores and couldn't be happier. Their scratch grain is better than any we've seen. They help you load your feed and are quick at the register. They have feed for basically any animal. The atmosphere in the store is what all feed stores should strive to be. It's old, rustic, original and charming.

I went here to pick up some grass seed. What I got was a very friendly owner. he explained to me how to get grass to grow on my own property. He took the time to write it down. This man is a true hometown business owner. I highly recommend anybody to stop by and have him help you.

I called ahead of time and the lady who answered the phone was very helpful. I had some questions about hay and straw. She explained the difference uses and all. When going to the store the attended was very help. Very educated local business that my family will continue to use.

I can’t get over how wonderful Jerry was and so helpful. Showed me their different grains and feeds, took the time and wasn’t pushy or short when I would ask MANY questions. Curtis was always smiling and friendly when loading our car. Just LOVED the whole experience. Will only buy from them from now on. I don’t even mind the drive from Kalamazoo to Lawrence
