I spent a nice little bit of time at Velocity when I was going through one of the most difficult times of my life. I was welcomed with open arms and was able to meet positive people and put time into something that filled my soul. It doesn’t matter what you believe, when you walk into Velocity you’re part of the family. If you’re free on a Sunday morning, stop in at 9 or 11 and take some time to meet some amazing people. Put yourself out there, sing along to the music, and lean in. I promise, you will feel it in your heart and you will leave with a smile on your face.

This church has been a home to me and my husband. From the minute you walk in, you feel like you matter. The life-giving worship and truth-filled sermon to follow make it so you never want to leave! We have made some of the best friends here and we continue to make amazing memories every Sunday!
I LOVE this church! The people are real, the Pastors are intentional, and there are so many ways to get connected with the church body and community. There is never any judgement here - all are welcome, no matter where you find yourself. This church truly is for EVERYONE!
This place is truly amazing. They have helped me develop a relationship with people In The community and most importantly to understand my relationship with god. They have celebrated good times and helped me through some of the more difficult times.
WOW! We’ve attended four churches since moving to Lawrence in late December. Although Velocity is not the nearest to our home, we keep coming back! Why?! The LOVE that exudes from the people there. We are always welcomed with a smile by several greeters & made to feel like they EARNESTLY want us there in the building - and believe me, we aren’t anything particularly special. We also bring baggage: (5 kids in tow). The Youth leaders and Kids leaders remember our kids’ names. Yes, We notice! Well done, Velocity. I also really admire their generosity and giving spirit!!! Worship is dynamic, gospel-teaching is memorable! This is for everyone!
