A great place to go. A family friendly pub that is run by an amazing couple how have a real passion for Indian food. I'm a really critical person when it comes to mixed grills because I love them so much, but the chefs at Shire Grill get it perfect everytime. There are quite a few TV screens to watch sport on if you want a night out with the lads too. Good range of beers on tap, spirits and wines. Decent sized car park and wheelchair accessible.

GOOD POINTS ... Friendly bar staff & waiting staff . Drinks ok prices . Food was good we both had a curries . However very spicy so ask if need to be a little less spicy . Good portions on everything. Noticed a lot of people where eating the grilled food . Saturday they have a special 9.99 grill or curry deal . BAD POINTS CHAOS... We had booked a table when we entered & signed in by the door but no one greeted us . We had to ask other customers coming & going what to do . Que to find out about reservation. Que then to order drinks . Que to order meal .. que while eating meal for another drink ..... It was majorly busy with diners & drinkers so needed a better system . Our 1st time.. not sure if we will rush back even though food & staff where both good due to this .
Having been to The Shire Grill many times, I can honestly say both the food and service is absolutely fantastic. The food is incredible and the quality is brilliant on every visit whilst also being great value for money. The staff are always very friendly and always have a smile on their face. Will always recommend!
First time at this place after work with colleagues and we all loved it! Very reasonably priced and the food was all great. Will certainly be going back!
We had a great meal at the shire Grill, the staff were very welcoming and the food arrived quickly. The selection was excellent and everything tasted amazing. The prices were very reasonable with the portions being more than enough, would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon for the carvery
