This review is long overdue but without question well deserved. My daughter started LIMA at 2 years old, shortly after being diagnosed with a “Peanut Allergy”. Her prior caretaker was somewhat uneducated about food allergies and although I brought her own food and she had an epi-pen with her I would spend 9 hours of the day with a knot in my stomach and worried all day. It was 5 years ago and at the time there weren’t many childcare facilities that were 100% Nut Free Zones....”this was a biiiiigggg deal” for me!! It meant peace of mind and the ability for me to actually concentrate on my work because I knew she was safe! She spend 3 years at LIMA and they were amazing years! Despite my daughters Allergy and Asthma and constant ear infections which “thank goodness she has mostly grown out of”...the staff was always nurturing, careful and took great care of her. I was well informed and called instantly if she wasn’t well or even if she was just not having a good day and needed me, which I appreciated. The school is so engaging and hands on. They are creative in there approach to teaching and keeping the kids looking forward to the next day. Amazing Art projects and activities. The holidays were always so festive and full of great opportunities for the children to learn and make wonderful memories. With the help of LIMA my daughter blossomed into a mature for her age, polite, respectful and advanced reading and math student in Kindergarten,1st grade and soon to be 2nd. To this day she speaks highly of all the staff from Ms.Kathy, to Ms. Megan, Ms. Shanna, Ms.Enid and Ms. Natalia. We miss you all and thank you to this day for all you did for us and continue to do for the children in our community.

**UPDATE** My LO have now been attending LIMA for 9 months and I'm a very happy camper. They always have activities with the kids which she loves, the teachers are consistent and engaging, she has learned a lot from her teachers and peers. The place is ALWAYS clean from floors, walls, bathrooms, grounds inside and outside and not to mentioned the kids. . . We are pleased with her care there she is always happy to go and she's happy while there. I'm so glad I have found this place. Ms. Megan is always super helpful and communicates with us on a weekly if not daily basis on upcoming events, learning materials for the week and other matters. Absolutely nothing negative to say. Thank you and keep up the great work!!! ********************************** It's been a month since my LO started LIMA and I have to say she is doing GREAT and they are AMAZING!! Since she started she's been FULLY potty trained, sings nursery rhymes ALL DAY LONG when she's at home!! And did I mentioned how much she LOVES LIMA?? Well she does, I literally have to tell her that if she doesn't behave she won't go to school!! And it works everytime!! The teachers are super attentive from 2T room and 2T-3T room where she was transferred to. The place is always clean and smells pleasant, the kids are always happy in the morning and evening and the best part is there's no TV!!! Which means they are always engaging with the children. This is the first time my LO has attanted a school and I couldn't be happier. ....I can go on and on... but I won't...there's NOTHING negative about LIMA!! Keep up the GREAT Job...

This school, Ms. Megan and her incredible team of loving teachers were all 100% an answered prayer for our family! We couldn't have asked for a more professional and caring experience for our son. We only wish we had found them sooner, we didn't want to say goodbye when it was time for graduation. Clean facility, professional staff, awesome curriculum and over all memorable! We'll miss you LIMA!

My child has been going to learning in motion ever since she was two. They helped her potty train soon enough she didn’t have any accidents. She loved all her friends and her teachers. As she grew up so did her knowledge. She is now in kindergarten and her teacher is saying she well prepared and she needs to give her more challenging activities . I just want to say thank you Mrs. Shantol and Mrs. Megan for helping her on her journey.

I have nothing but positive things to say about LIM! From the moment my child started attending this school I knew we found a great school. The staff are very friendly to everyone, not just the children in their classroom. The rooms are full of great learning resources and they are large in size. My child learns while she's at school; she doesn't just play all day. Her teachers are nurturing and compassionate. They are well educated and really do an amazing job! The director is always friendly and willing to help any way she can. She sends emails constantly keeping all parents up to date with things going on in the classroom and around the school. The teachers create weekly lesson plans and newsletters which really helps me know exactly what is being taught throughout the week. Like I said, I have nothing but great things to say about LIM's Tamarac location. If you're looking for a wonderful preschool for your child look no further!!!!
