I think they are helpful and do their absolute best to try and accommodate all sorts of schedules. I find the wait times perfectly acceptable.

Update: As a patient its my right to ask GP to refer me to a paediatrician when they can’t find any solution. My newborn is 16 weeks old and is suffering from severe nasal congestion at evenings till early noon. I have been visiting them when he was 6 weeks old. He can’t sleep comfortably, he feeds with much difficulty, his weight is decreasing, he gets so upset and cries badly when he couldn’t breath and it makes me feel so bad that there is no support available for him. I have to spend two hours or more per feed because he struggles to feed and cries. My nights are sleepless and so are his. I am going into depression as well. My toddler gets ignored as well due to all this. When I come and see a GP she thinks he is fine because she doesnt see him irritated ‘that time’ but she could definitely hear snuffles from his nose. I showed her his video as well. I spoke to a Paediatrician on phone through a friend and she clearly mentioned to me that its not normal to have mucous trapped in upper airways for that longer period of time and he might have narrow airways and that your gp should refer you to paediatrician but my GP does not understand this. She just keeps on calling me to a clinic when I can see she can’t do anything for him? She hasn’t seen a case like him before as she mentioned. Our life is miserable now a days and I dont know what to do. Thank you to this practise! —————————————————————— I am always before time on my appointment at this centre but I am always seen atleast after 30 minutes of waiting and that too without any apology. I understand that gps could run late but this happening all the time doesn’t make sense. Doctors time is important but patients time is also precious and they need rest as well. These long waits cause so many problems. I have never experienced this at previous medical centres.
