This candy store will make you feel like...well, a kid in a candy store! The throwback decor invokes a early 20th century pharmacy, when that word meant more than just medicine, and you could get sodas and shakes from the counter. Think Willy Wonka, and you're on the right track. And speaking of throwbacks, the best part of Das Sweet Shoppe, besides the ice cream bar at the back, and the ridiculous selection of taffy and Pez dispensers, is the vast assortment of candies from yesteryear. Here you will find all the treats from your childhood that you thought no longer existed. You know, the candy your grandparents ate, that you weren't that into as a child, but have grown fiercely nostalgic about. Yeah. Those candies. Whatever candy you're thinking of, it's probably here. Das Sweet Shoppe, like several other places in Leavenworth, is the kind of store that evokes joy merely by walking through doors. It's a time capsule from our childhood, and I look forward to every return visit.

This is a very cute place! It offers a large variety of candies, chocolates, cotton candy, popcorn, and ice cream! It definitely is a sweet shop! They also offer different items for purchase such as lunchboxes, games, and tiny toys for kids! It’s very colorful and the staff is very friendly!

The name says it all, it is a sweets shop and I mean all kind of sweets. The ice creams are awesome, with unique selection of flavors and colors. Then it was little bit of everything, chocolates, packaged chocolates, candies and whatever else you can think of (Check pictures to see what I am talking about) I really liked this place.
