Miranda was by far the best waitress one could ask for. It was our first visit to Leavenworth and my first free weekend. I work at a hospital in Richland WA and COVID has changed a lot for us. This was an epic experience with an eye opening view and bomb ribs! Miranda was the icing on the cake. She’s is a jewel, and made me feel at home and cared for. If and when I go back I know where to go. Thank you!

My wife and I went here 3 times in the week we were in town...yeah we loved it! It was a tad pricey since we made the bowl into a mound but well worth it. We had A customer service every time. If your in town, this is a great place to go to. We also sat on the balcony, had shade from sun, great breeze, and view.
We got takeout during a busy weekend during COVID. The buffet line was pretty crowded. My wife loved the ribs, but they were HUGE... each rib is like 3 actual ribs...\7\ ribs fed her for 3 meals. The stirfry was reasonably good, but I definitely put more food in my bowl then I really needed, or wanted to at the 30 price tag. Nothing is hidden about the price, but it's just the usual pay-per-lb buffet issue.... you always put more on your bowl than you realize... and once you loaded your bowl, you can't unload it... one suggestion... that wouldn't be profitable... put some sample size bowls at the front of the line that show what a 20 vs 30 bowl is.
Locals recommended this so i tried it. This place might be better in normal times. First disappointment: 27.00 for one bowl of stir fry is a bit much! Probably twice as much as market rate for other mongolian grills i have visited in more expensive places though i recognize logistical problems getting anything besides snow and rocks to Leavenworth. Second disappointment is the grill isn't turned on high enough. You have to char the bbq to induce the Maillard reaction. I just got a bunch of oily limp food. Though i haven't been to Mongolia I'm certain that Mongolians would agree with me on this point. Though I found the food overpriced i was not about to dine and dash. There wasn't any staff around at the cash register. I didn't have an appropriate amount in cash so i had to go hunt down the bartender to take payment. Though Mongolia is landlocked this doesn't stop the Wok About from serving squid. A departure from traditional fare! Also fermented yak milk is not on the menu.
My husband and I went in last night for dinner, AWESOME experience! The waiter was helpful, attentive and personable. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. We were able to watch the food be cooked right in front of us and it was absolutely delicious! Thanks for the great experience, we will be back for sure!
