Went in for battery light, put computer on, told me it was alternator and it would cost me 280 so I said go ahead, these guys then changed a battery without asking me and then said it still hadn't fixed the fault. Then I was told it was the start/stop module, I replaced that for 30 and it worked. I went back to pick up the old alternator and battery. He said I couldn't have the alternator and gave me the battery. I checked the battery and it was fine. End of the day I was down 380 at the end when it could have been just 30.

Repairs done then soon another fault appeared that wasn't there before. Got it fixed by APT then soon after another fault appeared. I had enough!! Went to a dealer and guess what?? It was cheaper than APT. Check out Dealers its not like before, Dealers are very reasonably priced with a no quible guarantee. I will never use a back street garage again. Incidentally car was only 6yrs old.

Much prefer independent garages now to chains having not used a chain for anything other than exhausts and tyres in years. Used APC three times so far for servicing and MOTs for my Peugeot and always been pleased with the level of quick professional service and honesty. Friendly staff and explaining all the work done at excellent value for money (unlike being ripped off at the franchises for unnecessary work) will keep me coming back.
