I rented from Central Properties in Leeds for 2 years of my university life. They are very kind and responsive to our issues and concerns which got resolved as quickly as possible. We had absolutely no trouble during our time renting with them and had a very pleasant and personal experience renting. Great for students!

I rented with Central for 1 year and only have praise for their professional and responsive service. They have always responded to issues quickly; the signing and moving in process was both easy and comprehensive; and the staff there are always happy to help and chat. They were particularly understanding during the uncertain times during lockdown. The best agency I have rented from during my 7 years of renting in Leeds, I only wish I had found them sooner.

Central Properties provided us with a fantastic professional flat in a great location for an incredibly reasonable rent for the past 14 months. The team at Central Properties were so incredibly kind to us during the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. In particular, I would like to thank Grace for quickly responding to every issue and quickly sorted us with a short term contract (and who's suggestion it was) to move into the flat below, without which we would have been completely stuck.

Had a flat last year with Central. As we were moving from halls to private rental, we didn’t truly realise we paid far too much for our flat until months into the contract. 460 a month EACH (3 people) for a pokey little flat is unbelievable. For the first 3 weeks we had no internet, yet still paid for that month of the broadband. Relentless issues with our washing machine - regularly flooding the kitchen and several attempts to fix it before they eventually replaced it. Horrendous start to the year - accidentally locked myself out on new years, of all days (absolutely my fault). I went next door the lovely couple who allowed me to sit with them whilst I waited for help, and they gave me the number for the woman who owns CP. She was incredibly rude and abrupt, and basically told me to sort it out myself. Eventually had a locksmith open the door without any further hassle, but even so, her tone was impolite and quite frankly upsetting considering I was there on my own. Amongst other minor issues, they then had the nerve to say they’d “covered the cleaning fee” despite having taken 3 months rent with no reductions whilst we all had to go home because of COVID? The property was perfectly clean when we left, considering we kept the place spotless. Student landlords and agencies in general are huge rip-offs, but at least have the decency to treat us like people - I guarantee the tone I had on the phone wouldn’t have been the same, had I been a professional renting.

As an foreign young professional from the USA doing research at the University of Leeds on a short contract, I think that Central Properties was extremely helpful for getting my living situation sorted in Leeds. They helped me find an economical flat where all of the utility bills and council tax were included in the price of the rent, which made moving to the UK less stressful. They were also professional at quickly calling repair people to fix any parts of the flat which occasionally required repair (as a flat anywhere might need occasionally).
