This is my favourite Leeds food place. So it’s high time I write a review. I used to go to the restaurant quite regular and it was so welcoming. None of that fake smiles customer service but a sincere hospitality. I remember one time seeing a table of assorted trinkets and asking what it was - I then got a friendly education on the Persian new year. But anyway. Aside from all that warmth. The food is divine. Melt in your mouth lamb. Bread like clouds . Strange and tasty extras like crunchy chipsticks on your rice. It’s a whole load of good flavour. I always end up leaving fatter than when I arrive but with dishes that delicious - I don’t care. Really happy they are still delivering in lockdown !

Absolutely delicious food; fast and attentive service. I had an aubergine starter with naan, and a checken kebab with saffron rice for the main. My drink was green tea. The aubergine starter was perfectly spiced, and the naan was fresh, soft on the outside with a wee bit of delightful crisp in the middle. I used steps of naan to scoop up the aubergine and it was great together. The chicken was soooo juicy, nicely cooked and the special Persian condiment next to the salt and pepper makes the flavour pop even more! The saffron rice came with some. Butter on the side, and It was fluffy and soft, delicious! The tea was even better than I expected, with some mint leaves and other goodness in there too! The tealight to keep the pot warm was a nice touch. The decor was lovely, nice atmosphere, good food and fantastic service. I'll be back!

My family and I have been going to Darvish for years and the quality has always been consistently excellent. Amazing food, excellent customer service and thoroughly recommend for all the family. During lockdown I highly recommend the takeaways!
Great restaurant. First time I tried Persian food and I'm impressed by the taste of the dishes. The owner is really nice. Will come back for sure.
