As a first-year student, the house-hunting process was very daunting at first. However, Andy was really accommodating and helpful when advising us and showing us around available properties, and Parklane Properties in general has made the process so much easier. Would recommend!

If you're thinking about living in The Triangle, I DO NOT recommend. They don't even deserve a star. The contract is not monthly, is quarterly. 90% of the period I lived there I had cold showers. They were just keep sending a guy who were just pretending to solve the problem. The bed mattress was so old, the springs were hurting my back, because the landlord is stingy and don't want to buy new ones, and in the room was always cold. They don't have a special place for deliveries, so my documents were lost. My deposit was sent after 1 month. Is disappointing that in England some ''business peopleare'' are allowed to do such a mockery and nobody is checking.

The house was OK, but the company and the landlord were very inflexible. When we tried to renew our contract, they pushed for longer contract (yearly) in a time of uncertainty, not accepting rolling contract as stated by our tenancy agreement and backed up by the Housing Act of 1988. We were disappointed by the fact that they did not provide explanations about why they did not accept a rolling contract even though our tenancy agreement stated that. For this and other issues, they created a lot of psychological stress to us during the COVID pandemic. Overall, we had a very bad experience with Parklane and we would not recommend it.

Avoid parklane, they are rude, unhelpful and do not care about their tenants. My blind broke in the first 3 weeks of moving in and despite me reporting this several times this was only fixed on the last day of the tenancy. Consequently, I had to sleep in a room with no blind which woke me up every morning and majorly disrupted my sleep. Furthermore, we had mice in the house and reported these in around February and it took 3 weeks for anyone to come and when they did, they set up traps and never came back to collect the traps or follow the problem up. As a result, there were still mice in July. The house also had mold and Parklane were nothing but unhelpful at attempting to solve any of these problems. They also charged us an extortionate amount for a deep clean that was not necessary. Moreover, upon losing my key Parklane gave me two incorrect replacements, demonstrating their incompetence and lack of care for their tenants. The staff are nothing but rude and incompetent...avoid Parklane at all costs.

Having just signed a lease for a student house and dealt with James at their offices I have found Parklane Properties both incredibly organised, prompt and helpful with regards to organising the property. The property itself is reasonably priced, the tenancy was flexible and the also included free summer rent which was an added bonus. James was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with in comparison to many letting agents who I have dealt with in the past. 10/10 so far would recommend to a friend.
